The Problem:

In the U.S., Sex Education begins in 5th grade, yet our children are not taught the warning signs of being victimized by crimes such as human trafficking, sexual assault/rape, and child sex crimes. Without knowledge of the resources for help, victims may be left alone, harmed, or even worse. The last thing they want to do is talk about it to get help. In the case of women, pregnancy can take place, possibly followed by abortion, which may lead to additional trauma. 

The Solution:

The Road to Heal Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit that was formed to fill the gap in early awareness, and education for human trafficking, sexual assault/rape, and child sex crimes, and provide resources to heal. We must start by using the power of the media to spread awareness to prevent these sex crimes. 

It is essential to understand how to stay safe, and to know the necessary immediate steps to take after an incident has taken place to prevent pregnancy and disease, and to get the support needed for healing, as time is of the essence to get help. 

Our mission is to create awareness campaigns for potential victims of sex crimes, educate them, and provide the resources needed to heal. Ideally, everyone will know the warning signs to look for in their physical and digital environments, and where to go for help.

We will ensure that by using the world's most powerful multi-media marketing strategies and digital platforms. In the Pittsburgh DMA alone, we have 2.7 million people to get these messages in front of! It doesn't stop there, as we aspire to worldwide reach.

Our multi-media awareness campaigns' targeted messages reach those most at risk for these crimes when they are on their phones, iPads, smart TVs, streaming audio, and laptops, as well as through print and broadcast media. We use the most powerful digital platforms to get customized information recommended by experts to potential victims.
